    Good Morning!

    I have taken today off so I can go with my wife to the Dr. She needs 2 knee replacements and has had a few injections so far. Things are getting worse and I think it's time for the surgery on the first knee. Any surgery is scary and I understand her being anxious. Ill be there for emotional support.

    Positive thoughts for your wife, and you. I had my left hip "resurfaced" in 2014 due to osteoarthritis. Surgeon told me the right one was almost as bad and would likely need same procedure within a couple more years. So far, 9 years later, it hasn't given me any problems.

    Earlier this year my left knee started acting up. Went to an orthopedist, he diagnosed arthritis in the joint, meniscus is gone. He said I am nowhere near the need for surgery yet, I could use a leg brace or try the injections. I have this thing about needles... so I opted for the leg brace. So far, knee has been behaving itself for last few months. But someday, it may need the full blown treatment.

    Last day of intensive group therapy. Did it help? Not really but it gave me something to get up and start my day for the last 6 weeks. A few appointments next week will keep this schedule going.
