I have two neighbor dogs - one next to me [pitbull] and one across the street [dobie]; neither with negligent owners BTW..

The pitbull barks at me almost every time I am on my back deck/back yard if she is outside.. been like that for years.
She calmed down some - when her owner took a week off work and yelled at her each time she barked at me - it is better but she still barks at me consistently .. and others she knows well.

The dobie is just batshit crazy - they have two and the female just barks non/fucking/stop..
When they are gone - I can hear her barking from within their house, when I am in my own house some days . . . several acres away!
If I am outside/go outside when she is out, she just barks nonstop.
IF the husband is home, then she usually stops b/c he will put the smack down..
The wife, not so much so, the dog has zero respect for her..
One day the wife left the slider/deck door open - that bitch barked for like 9-10hr STRAIGHT!!

Both these dogs are trained but getting them to stop barking just hasn't happened - 6yr on the pitbull, 4yr on the dobie..


I have a majority neighbors who refuse to train their dogs - I see em out walking, the dog is walking the owner 100%, lunging at passers by..
Got a couple of tiny dogs that are so vicious/snarly that their owner's pick em up when we walk by!
Stupid AF.
Meanwhile my dog gets dirty looks cause he is 'scary' lookin' - yet he is right next to me, doesn't lunge at others, doesn't bark..

People are little bitches - most don't wanna be bothered.
Dogs, like kids, need rules and structure to be the 'best versions' of themselves - just like people don't wanna discipline their kids, they don't wanna discipline their dogs..reeks of effort.

I had a co/worker give me some serious side eye when I told him I use a prong collar . . . .
My dog needs meaningful correction, he understands, to comply - it is similar to his mother biting his neck when he is bad. . .
And I tested the collar on my leg before I put it on him...

My neighbors' actually try to stop the barking shit - so I can't be too mad..
They even put the female dobie on some drugs

But every time I see the fuck/faces gettin walked by their dogs I roll my eyes cause . . . it is clear they are not in control of shit; inmates running the asylum kinda thing.
