Received incorrect rack and pinion.

I have a 2005 RWD ext cab 2.7 ltr and received a rack and pinion which will not fit.
For what model did I receive the item and what should I look for
when ordering the correct part?

The listing says its for the 6 lug (Prerunner or 4X4). Is yours the 5 lug version? I know the suspension is different between the 6 lug and 5 lug. I am guessing the rack would be different too.

I believe the 5 lug is considered the base model.

I just had the high pressure line on my 2014 tacoma blow. Mine is a 4x4 with extend cab, 4.0L V-6, and 6spd. Manual transmission. According to Toyota parts, the rack part number should be 44250-04040, which this ebay seller claims as a direct OE replacement. I was wondering if anyone on here has had experience purchasing these from ebay?
