Plastic Connector

    I need a little help. I am terrible mechanic. Attached is photo of plastic wire connector from the top of coolant temp sending unit or sensor ( the front one) What is the trick for un attaching this thing from the sensor before I attempt to replace the unit? IMG_0240.jpg

    Squeeze the tab near the top where the wire comes out

    Taking your time to fully inspect all sides of the connector for locking tabs..some might need to be pushed in while others will clearly need to be unclipped with a very small flat screwdriver..in this case it appears just a push in tab..but the pic only shows one side of that connector.. Taking your time while supporting one side of the connector while working the other side..at times they have waterproof seals that require a side to side motion after the locking mechanism is unlatched..
