Just got this email from Uptop. Interesting they are discontinuing them. Anyone know why they are canceling them? I thought the design was in hot demand.

Last time I read anything about them they were super restrictive and robbed the engine of air.

I think the fact that they are hideous and are restrictive could be the reason for them being discontinued. I think there was a lot of hot talk about them…maybe some research is in order before you buy it (if intended to).

I think this tells you all you need to know.
They know they have an inferior product that many have complained about.

“But hey, a little trail wisdom – these snorkels come with a no refunds, returns, or exchanges policy. It’s the kind of gear you commit to, the one that’s got your back as you blaze through uncharted terrains and through the roaring waters.”

What kind of nonsense is that?

Yeah, it wouldn't work with my roof rack anyways. Just curious why it was getting phased out. I like the air raid ones best imo.

Imagine still paying “just” $699 for a pos hunk of restrictive plastic.

Useless POS. Looks great on a mall crawler, but all snorkels are useless on 99% of the trucks on and off the road.
There is a Lexus SUV hereabouts with a snorkel and big ass round led lights on the front grill. Big basket rack on the roof and more lights.
When I see it, all I do is laugh.

Wow, that is simply one of the least attractive snorkels set up I’ve ever seen. I’m really not a fan of snorkels in general, I understand their inception however, I have no use for them
