i am working on a 96 tacoma 3.4 v6, manual trans truck. Originally it had jumped time, i replaced all the components with new parts and started the truck up. The next day i tried to start the truck, and it would just spin over. I rechecked my work, everything was normal.
I then heard a beeping noise coming from the relay integration box, and noticed the check engine light is barely on with the key out of the ignition. when you put the key back in the ignition and turn on, the check engine light is off. it will spin over, but not start.

after a few days of messing with it, i turned the key on the check engine light lit up and it fired right up. but a day or so later, its back to the old way. no check engine light with key on engine off. The beeping is back.

On the intake manifold drivers side there is a group of brown ground wires… ill bet they are loose or one is broken.

grounds were tight. still has the beeping coming from the relay integration box. something thru there is causing it not to send power where it needs to be.

You called it. i went back and checked the grounds and even though it was snug, i moved it just a little and it made a good connection and cleared up my problem. so i cleaned the eyelets, and the intake and it makes a great ground and everything works perfectly. THANK YOU for answering my question!!!¡
