Hello all! First time Tacoma owner here! Just bought a 2022 Tacoma off-road with BF good rich Baja champion tires, and an icon suspension with a 3 inch lift. I was going to buy new, but they had just got that one in on trade and that was the two main things I wanted to improve, was shoes and suspension. I could not be more excited. It’s already filthy and covered in scratches lol. I don’t know what else I want to do to it first probably rock sliders.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Welcome! That is one sweet rig. Love the green :)

Rock sliders would be a smart upgrade. Sounds like your on your way!

Congratulations on the new purchase & awesome rig! Yes, I whole heartedly recommend rock sliders as a first purchase, especially since you already have a nice lift and some good shoes. I would also suggest upgrading the engine skid to something a little beefier. I run an RCI Off-road raw aluminum skid and have loved it so far. Its taken a few big blows and lots of scrapes through Colorado trails and it was so nice having the peace of mind that the engine was protected. They run sales frequently and with Black Friday coming up soon I'm sure there is another one in the works!

Welcome, nice rig! Love the color. Was it lightly used or beaten up a bit before you purchased it?

it’s lightly used. It’s got about 20,000 miles on it. I’ve had it for three days and I’ve already put quite a bit of desert pinstriping on it.

    welcome

look locally first for sliders, shipping tends to be a killer
the Pilipps H9 low beam mod is a good one
if your roads get salt/brine treatment in the winter get the inderside coated in ether Fluid Film, Wool Wax, or Krown type coating. got to keep the rust at bay

We’re in the Az desert. Not a lot of snow or mud, but plenty of rocks and sand.
