Hi! I am a first time taco owner and wanted to introduce myself here. I am on the forum to gain knowledge about modifications. Specifics on what I am looking to do

    2" lift
    bigger tires
    different rims

I can wrap my head around tires and rims but know next to NOTHING about lift kits. My partner and I are campers and would like just a little more clearance- nothing super extreme. Any advice is helpful.

    Thank you!

Welcome! Post up a pic of your truck!

Here is the deal on lift and tires....tires are what gives you better ground clearance. Lift and wheel offset can help fit larger tires. Both will hurt the gas milage. Don't go cheap on the lift it will only cause you problems. 33" tires will be the largest you can fit with what you want to do but will require a wheel with a different offset and probably UCA's.

Here she is in all her glory. 33" tires is the biggest we would want to go. I am trying to gather more info about lift kits in terms of which of the 7 million would work for us. For example, if a 2" lift is what we are looking for do I only need to lift the front? Just a quick google search shows me all kinds of price ranges like This one vs the below What are the basic differences here for example? I appreciate all this info so much!
