Sorry guys I’m not mechanically savvy. So forgive me.
    1. When I’m driving and getting up to around 65 miles per hour (periodically) there will be a sound like a horn honking then goes away. It only does it every now and then.
    2. I removed my skid plate and noticed there was an oil buildup on one of the front locations under the engine. I recently had the oil pan replaced with a new gasket and just noticed this the other day any help would be greatly appreciated.

again, I apologize in advance for my ignorance. Any help would be appreciated.

With out crawling under my truck and looking.
I’m going to say that’s the front differential mount arm.
I don’t think that is your problem as far as the “honking”.

As for the oil, clean it off and check it again later.
See if it’s an active leak or old (before the pan replacement)
Typically, I like to clean all areas of oil after a job like that……
But when you’re against the clock, that doesn’t always happen.

Ok thanks. The noise is the strangest thing. Not consistent by any means. But is very noticeable when it happens. As for the oil residue I don’t see any coming from around the seal from the oil pan. It’s just weird

Does the noise mainly happen when your driving in a crosswind?
If so it's probably the front door seals.

Good question I may have to try and pay attention to that.

That leak is near the power steering rack. Check that or the ps lines or pump for leaks. Low ps fluid levels can create strange noises from the ps pump, so check the reservoir level. Need to pull the cap, as long term staining makes it look full from the outside even when empty. A common issue with aisian vehicles.
