Next time I open a JD SBBS whiskey I want to blend a pour 50/50 with the rye.

Whiskey: banana
Rye: chocolate

Might be a rather nice combo.

 

Hmmm… I’ll have to try this since I have both open currently. I’ll report back when I do. Thanks for the idea.

 

Question: what do you all do with empties?
Some I save and others get turned to target practice.

during opening weekend of deer/duck we’ll polish off a bottle of Jim or something similar while sitting by the bon fire and then usually we’ll put some lead in it to kill it.

 

Are you shaking them up, or just letting them sit?

That's unfortunate, but 10K seem an awful lot for a cage. Were they making it out of Unobtainium?

Sipping on Makers BEP while I wait for the pork loin roast to come to temp…I really like this bottle!

 

Race legal roll cage ensures the cage is built to a set of written standards

meaning when taking disabled veterans off-road I can give wives/moms/ect comfort the vehicle is built properly and for safety in mind
It also assist in the event something unfortunate happens on a trip

and yes, given the opportunity I would like to race in the same class as the Isenhour brothers

I opened one of the little green Weller SR flasks tonight to drink with some Taco Bell baja blast.
So good

 

Been let down by all my cracked bottles. Opened this…pleasantly surprised with how I like it. 6.8 out of 10.

Just letting them sit. They're a little darker now and finally are starting to not smell of new make. Haven't tasted yet.

 

Candy jar! Not really.. I thought this bottle was really cool (Lot40) because its got a schematic of the distilling process drawn on it, so I saved it for water during tastings and then ended up as my candy corn stash. I usually just recycle them, no bueno having broken glass all over

 

the broken glass is always in the fire pit anyway

 

A lot of people make them into candles or glasses
