4th gen seats in 3rd gens ?

So..

Has anybody thought of if the fourth generation seats will fit into the third generation Tacoma?

Will a company make a bracket for them to fit ?

 

Of course they'll fit....

Correct. The floor brackets will be 100% different. Only way they would bolt up if the way the mount to those brackets are the same way and measurements.

 

Anything will fit with enough time, money, and patience.

 

I mean, I've seen an LS swapped 1923 Ford T-bucket, LS swapped motorcycle, and Tacoma dually.

the only thing i want from the 4th gen on my turd gen is the chin strap. that chin strap on the 4th gen is the bomb!

I remember guys putting small block V8s in VW bugs and just about anything else back in the 70's.

 

With , anything will fit .

Some 3rd party company will probably take the time to measure and offer an aftermarket mount, from $30 of steel and sell it to 3rd Gen fanboys for $299

If they don't use the same bolt hole orientation, just get a welder and an angle grinder and make your own

Personally, I'd suggest something like some Scheel Mann seats or similar if you want nice seats

 

And the required wiring harness adapters for the power/heated seats ... $599 minimum.
