It also helps in the Midwest to put a little on the back of your rims, so your wheels don’t seize to your truck and you won’t need a sledgehammer or baseball bat to get it off in the middle of a blizzard. Don’t put it on the lugs though.
I’ve always put a drop of oil and ran it along the gasket and just a quarter turn after lightly hand tightening. If you changed it cold and the next time changed it hot, everything will be swollen and more difficult.

Removed the last chrome from the Taco. Installed these OEM lights with the black out instead of the chrome.

Had to rep Harley ….. and added the Toyota letter overlays from tacos4cheap. I’m quite impressed by the quality of the overlays. Highly recommend

    Nothing crazy!
Small things that matter. Finally got to install my driver side grab handle. My wife can easily access this lifted truck now.

I bought directly from TacoMods. I explained why they didn’t work for me and he gave me a refund no problem. I’d call that a reputable vendor.

I can't remember if I got them off Etsy or Amazon (one of the two) but I used some painters tape to mark the end edges of the original decals before removing them. I laid the tape about a 1/4 inch from the edges in case there was adhesive reaidue I had to remove. On one side I used heat, on the other I just peeled it off. Honestly, the side I used heat on left more residue. Then I used the wet method to apply the new decals (it's a water, baby shampoo, alcohol mix). Highly recommend applying them wet.

Also, depending on how long your original decals have been on the truck, and your paint color, there may be "ghosting" left from the sun that will help align the new ones.

There’s good and bad when it comes to Ohio Whitetails. You harvest one during hunting season and you have venison for a while. But if you hit one with your vehicle, you’re SOL. Sorry dude, been there done that.

Light day of bolt ones here, mounted up the OVS 180 awning, maxsa traction boards, 4wp rear bumper, and finally put the soft topper on. Killed a license plate light while reinstalling so went ahead and swapped those to LED while it was out.

I have those too, and in my humble opinion they look 10x better than any other grille letter coloring I have seen.

It’s covered for up to $600 total I was just doing quick math in my head. They have a discounted rate with Hertz for $25 a day. Last time I got a free up grade to a Malibu. So 24 days total which I can cover another few days if need be at $25 a day and no mile cap.
