Any views of the bed rails to see if parts are transferable from 3rd-4th Gen? Have an American Roll cover I'd like to port over if possible.

You'll never know from 'views' unless you mean drawings with dimensions.

My guess is waiting for a real vehicle will be required.

Does the manufacturer know? Seems that getting their hands on the real thing early would have been important to them.

Based on snippets from various videos and from several threads on this board, it sounds like the walls of the bed are an inch or so higher and the wheels wells are a little smaller, and thus have a wider space between them from the tread width being pushed out a little.

The t-nut rails appear the same, so those accessories should be fine.

Camper shells probably won’t be compatible from 3rd to 4th gen, as evidenced by the thread from GFC and their re-design for the 4th gen. Even if the bed width and length are the same, the point where the cab meets the shell would have mismatched heights from the taller bed walls. Also, the spoiler at the back of the cab could cause issues for some campers. The photos of GFC’s 4th gen camper seem to show that the spoiler doesn’t really get in the way but it closes up the gap between cab and shell up at the top.

I think I once heard in one of those early videos from Hawaii that the overall length and width remained the same and that wheel wells and the wall height were the only differences. I could be wrong about that and I don’t remember which video might have mentioned it. But if that were the case the tonneau covers might be compatible.

Take all this with a grain of salt. I’m just another guy with the same questions who is trying to piece together information too.

It looks like the front rail is higher than the side rails. Might just be weird camera angles, but it looks like that changed, too.
