Assuming the wheel is aluminum and not steel it shouldn't rub the caliper. The OEM 16x7" wheels have +25mm offset or 5" backspacing. 16x10" wheels with -25mm offset will have 4.5" backspacing so you actually have .5" more clearance on the back side. With a wheel that wide, plan on doing the usual CMC or relocation, pinch weld flattening and bumper/fender trimming. What size tire are you wanting to run?

Unfortunately you will be right hard pressed to run that high negetive offset without a chop. The stock sport wheel is a +33 so your pushing thst wheel out just over 2" further. Drastically increasing your scrub radius.
I was able to get away with a 285/70r17 on a 17x9 +1 but it was tight to the cab mount with a good alignment. I'm now on 295/70r17 on a 17x9 -25 and a chop was 100% required even if I stayed on a 285. I wouldn't fear the chop find a reputable shop and just get it done sooner that later.

That's the +1 vs -25. Sticking around 0 offset will generally allow you to fit a 285 with little issue.
