2011 toyota tacoma off road. I Installed preassembled bilstein 5100 with ome springs set at 2 in (2885) in the front and 5100 bilsteins in the rear. My rear was 2 in higher than front. Now, my front is 1 3/4 in higher than rear. I am painting my stock rims black for now and adding a 2 in add a leaf in the rear. So, ive gone this far im ready to say screw it and buy 285s . With everything ive done will 285s fit now and fit with stock wheels? Will i need spacers? 1 inch, 1.25? Etc? Anything else? Thanks

No to the first question. A spacer will just make it worse. There is so much more to making 285s fit and when I say the truck is still capable of completing cycling the suspension thru it full rang of motion on/off road. Also according to the post if the rear started 2” higher and you lifted the front 2” it should not be 1 3/4” high than the back you should have been close to level.

Fyi. With lift coils on 5100s the coil seat needs to be on the zero setting.

This is a half truth on stock wheels you may require a spacer to clear the uca. My third gen sport wheels were a +33 so a 1.25 spacer would of been required to clear the uca. That would bring the offset to around a +2 which is generally a very manageable offset to still clear a 285.

Removed those Shin blasters, added some nice 20” wheels, and slowly looking to level the SR5 in the front.
Well maybe I shouldn’t ask to many questions because I have a small rub on my taco… 20” with 275/55 stock suspension. I want to just add 2” spacers hoping that may eliminate the small rub issue. I am also worried it will get worse.
Total on my wheels and tires is 32.5, so it is close.

Where Is your rub? Generally a spacer will only make rubbing worse.

I am trying to narrow it down. It is only when I first turn. I think it coulb be on the front of the cab..

If that's the case a spacer won't help your case it will only make matters worse.
