I searched for a good while and couldn't find much so at the risk of sounding like an idiot, here goes:

I recently deleted my photobucket account (forgot I still had one) and tried updating a couple old photos in posts with new links to where I now keep photos on my OneDrive using the "Image" button and pasting the link to the image on OneDrive. The photo initially appears in the posting, but after a day or so, the broken image [IMG] appears and the photo is gone. Tried this on a fresh new test post and same results. I've used links from OneDrive in posts in years past with zero issues and the images are still there today. Do I just need to hit the "Upload File" button instead? I don't post too often as you can see lol.

    I don’t now why it’s doing that.
But suspect the 3 party (OneDrive) is the issue.

I just use “upload file”. That way it’s right here on TW and never goes anywhere.
It’s stored here on TW. Unless the thread or post gets deleted, the picture is always there.

Those links from OneDrive appear to expire...I looked through some of the posts and the very recent ones still work and the ones from a few days prior no longer do. So best bet is use the Upload a File button on here. We'll implement an auto-upload feature in the coming week so these temporary OneDrive images automatically become permanent attachments on here.

Thanks, I'll just use the upload method from here on out. Something must've changed with OneDrive since like you said the photos are disappearing and I can't seem to find a way to keep the link from expiring after scouring the settings on OneDrive. Just odd since it never used to do that and previous photos are still up on the site.
