Needing to know if anybody has or have had this setup on the 3rd Gen.

    Did you get proper alignment?

I will not take this truck off of the pavement...I drive it to work and around town that's it.

No, you need aftermarket arms to get the alignment.

spc arms are ideal, they aren’t the most robust but will achieve the best alignment.

I just put a set of Spc arms on a leveled truck and got a great alignment. It was murdering tires due to crazy bad camber.

Will it work sure any set up will work. But you will also need to keep in mine the other aspects that come with a lift. Be ready to deal with the potential for driveline vibrations from either the drive shaft or front diff needle bearing. These can be essily fixed with angled blocks at the leaf or diff carrier spacers and the clamshell bushing. Also the increased maintenance you'll be looking at with the angle of your cv axles being increased the boots will wear our much faster.
Just a few other things to keep in mind when looking to do a lift. After driving a truck that was at 3" for awhile I don't recommend it.

2" will be a much easier to manage lift height as far fewer adjustments will need to be made to the rest of the suspension geometry
