    thanks. no one else would fix my truck and i'm not going to drive a truck with a bad rear end for several hundred thousand miles. after over 6 visits to the dealer, I couldn't deal with it anymore. Not worth the stress. took it to several other shops as well and they kept blaming the wheel and tire which i replaced with new ones. still wobbled. Really unhappy with Toyota's service. i don't see the point of a warranty if they won't even awknowledge the issue. it's always "that's normal" or "we can't replicate the issue" or "i don't hear it".

    i tried a Raybestos aftermarket drum and a new OEM drum

    Good luck with your civic OP. Maybe with the aftermarket and modders, you will be able to research and get help / fix anything that comes up there.

    I have experienced reluctance to diagnose/fix a newer toyota car. I think the high quality/ price of toyota parts works against them sometimes, when the car is still too nice to tear apart and rebuild.
