    I know they built a lot of things in Yellowstone and Glacier but I think the main work they did out here was fight fires, build fences and maybe a few bridges. Their camps were either just all canvas tents or have been burned/demolished. Nothing like the camps you’re showing.

    The C.C.C. Did projects all over the U.S. , pretty much all our park systems, had some uncles on my moms side did work around Detroit. One of our counties great programs.
    I think WW2 ended the program, there were plenty of jobs for people once the war broke out.
    Civilian Conservation Corps, it finally came to me.
