For some reason 20mm to 20mm connectors for phone mounts are difficult to find so I made my own connectors instead of paying >$20 plus shipping and tax for one.
Split the cost with a coworker who has a 67D Taco Rail like me.
The same cheap mod could probably be done with the 1" ball also but I'm vested in 20mm.

When putting away summer gear I found a splash ring that had split and fallen off a kayak paddle. I put the ring around the base of the windshield wiper arm to keep tree debris from falling in.
Ring is not a perfect fit, but it seems to keep a majority of the pine needles out. So far, it's stayed on at 65mph. Curious to see how it does in the winter when snow and ice comes.
I've got to purchase new rings to replace the one from the paddle and do the other side of the truck.

It's these things that I'm talking about. They are <$10 for four.

Fabricated a bracket to stop the parking brake cable from riding up over the leaf carrier on the Dakar pack... works like a charm.

I bought those organizers for the glove box and center compartment. I hated how they rattled, and anything you put in them would rattle against the hard plastic.
About $5 for some felt from Joann’s Fabric and some spray adhesive took care of that. IMG_0760.jpg now it’s quiet.

Still stocked with my Tweeter upgrade. That and my 8"underseat Powered Sub, and it sounds great!

You can also cut the felt to the size for the cup holders and such. Then get some plastic-dip and spray the backs of them with a bunch of light to medium coats. It will give them a solid rubber back and rubber sides, and will give a little weight to them.

See Post #258. I cheated and used two RAM truck fillers for the rear door pockets.
But I have an Access Cab...

Great idea and even better execution. Where'd you find the oem-like button? Also, please post up again if you get the 2nd switch done.

I’m not sure where he got his, but you can get short or tall Tacoma buttons custom made at CH4x4.com. IMG_9267.jpg I had this one made for some Diode Dynamics pods with backlights. You can customize them with any design you want though.

I’m no longer using the one in the picture. If anyone local to the PNW area needs it, it’s yours.

My biggest fear about having a setup like that would be getting pulled over for being mistaken as a potato cannon.

Now there’s a mod to be proud of. Could I avoid property damage if I baked the potato before loading it?

Let's just say that hypothetically, firing a baked potato results in a disappointing spray of mashed potatoes that won't travel more than five feet beyond the barrel. :anonymous::anonymous::anonymous:

Ha. I've got a lot of what is that type questions, couple folks actually knew. Lots of head turns.

Im actually working on building a fly rod carrier that will mount to the Prinsu too. It is three 2" pvc pipes 10' long with a threaded connection in the middle to make it smaller if needed and possibly mount inside the bed. At the end will be an ammo box with a master lock, this is where the end of the fly reels will be.

Some might think that this would be a type of multiple barrel potato gun once complete.
