Rear brake hose junction

I am having a lot of trouble with leaking brake lines. I’ve replaced both lines coming from each wheels cylinder to the brake junction Tee where the two 3/16” lines meet with the brake hose. I came to terms that I should just replace that Tee. I bought a 3/16” brake line tee but the brake hose make portion does not thread in. Is there a new brake hose I should buy that will fit or is there some kind of Tee I can buy that will work?

 

You need metric threads on those lines.

 

I know it is M10x1.0 but I’m having issues finding a tee that is 3/16” xM10

 

I just need that Tee or wondering if there is an alternative

 

Toyota doesn't sell them?

Fab your own bracket or cut the original one of and drill a hole to mount the new 3-way tee.

My question now is wouldn’t M10 fit a 3/16” fitting still? So I’m confused on why this 3/16” tee won’t fit the hose threads if it fits M10

 

3/16 is the hard line size. M10x1.0 is the fitting. Toyota use double flare ends.

 

Does this mean I need the M10x1.0 with the extended tip (threads not going to the end of the fitting)

 

I have been using double flare ends on the hard 3/16” line but using the 3/16” fittings where the threads go all the way to the end and the fittings seems to bottom out in the tee too soon. Maybe that’s why I’m having issues with it leaking
