1st gen Rims on 2nd Gen?

Hello,

First time poster, long time follower of TW.

I have searched many times to try to find an answer if the Stock 1st gen rims (the 5 spoke swirl design) will fit on a 2nd gen. I've only been able to find one photo of someone running this setup, but no info on if there were spacers needed, etc.

I have a 2009 2.7 Manual Regular Cab 4x4. Stock Steel Rims.

Yes they should fit. I looked into this a long time ago, here’s one thread with someone running them. No spacers required as the wheels have more backspacing than the OEM 2nd Gen Wheels so your tires will also stick out a little more.

@Kwikvette Lol I haven't purchased anything at the moment. I used to have a set that I also threw away from my old first gen... Wishing I kept them now.
Tying to keep my eyes out for a super cheap set of throwaways on FB.
