    What's up, TacomaWorld!

First time poster, but long time lurker.

I bought my dream truck! She's a 2015 TRD Off Road, and she checks every box... 4-door, V6, 4WD, 6-speed manual, and she's even the color that I wanted.

I've been chasing down anything that met my essential criteria on AutoTempest and AutoTrader for the last few months. I was even considering trucks over a thousand miles away. I came close to jumping on a couple of listings, but there was always some issue turning me away from purchasing.

That all changed last week. A new listing popped up on AutoTempest in the early morning of 10/11. The truck was listed on Carvana, so she was more expensive than the other trucks I had been looking at. But this one was nearly perfect: Texas truck, clean and detailed Carfax, all of the options I was looking for, and she had less than 32k miles on her. In my book, that pretty much justified her price tag.

I passed the listing on to a few people whom I trust and respect greatly saying, "I may have found her!" They didn't throw any red flags, and my dad — one of the wisest and most rationally-frugal people in my life — even encouraged me to, "Read the fine print, and PTT." I decided to wait until the end of the day, and if she was still available, I would pull the trigger. Fast forward a few days, and I took delivery of her on 10/15.

I'm so stoked to join this incredible community, and I'm even more stoked about this absolute gem of a truck! Mods will be methodical and tasteful. I'm not going to pretend to be someone I'm not, and I want to maintain all of the characteristics that define this amazing truck.

    Stay tuned!

    Nice truck

I suspect you may have overpaid going through carvana, but not that many low mileage ones out there
