Going to be getting a new set of tires for my truck and am going with 265/70/17 on trd pro replica wheels. The two I have narrowed it down to are BFG KO2’s or Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT. Was wondering what everyone thought and if anyone was running one or the other and what they thought about them.

I haven't ever had the Mickey Thompsons, but I did have the KO2s. If you are never going to see rain they are fine, but the wet traction is garbage. Everything else they did great with, but I slid through an intersection from 35MPH because of a slight incline and some rain. They were a bit wonky to balance as well, but that was livable.

BFG unless you want decent traction when it’s wet. I switched to the recon grappler which does much better in the rain and snow.

I have Mickey Thompsons for about 5 months. We've had a lot rain in NY this summer. Ive had no issues with traction. I did see a drop in mpg. I had 265 70 17 Hankook ATs i have the same size Mickey Ts and mpg dropped about 2 mpg. I commute about 40 miles round trip a day
