the real question is why is there city of philly land out there. reminds me of when i was in the eastern sierra and i saw a los angeles city truck up there and then a city yard with water department trucks. its all about water rights watch the movie chinatown. i also briefly looked at crew cabs lol

That's probably it right there, water supply. I know NYC siphons their stuff from the catskills so that wouldn't surprise me

Definitely 35/Excalibur. Whats weird is there was so many different entry points onto 35 that I was noticing when we did that loop on 9

From what I WAS able to find, that trail was reformatted at least twice in the past couple years, too many go arounds yaddah yaddah. I found a bunch of videos going through Excalibur but none doing that f'd sectioned we found on Friday.

Yes, that is the northern end of excalibur, from the map, the area above 35. I know that I have done the lower part before, as I remember the exit being too tight of a climb / turn so only can go one way.

I meant the trail if it gets too scary hahaha, there was a surprising amount of grip considering it was raining all day

Did anyone else find using OnX not to user friendly? Didnt like the fact you coudnt tell the skill level of a trail before you started on it. not to safe if you ask me. Does anyone have a better option?

Yeah in this instance onx was less than intuitive, but I don't think anything will clearly show trail level besides the paper maps unfortunately

I mean for the last 4 years Ive used maprika and it worked like a champ. I got a new phone and wasnt able to get it on my new phone. The staff at AOAA said the app is no longer in use or up to date as of the beginning of the summer of 2023. If you have it installed already it will work. I wonder if Gaia is any better.

Quick update on the fundraising: We're well over our number from last year. Once we get the final shirts shipped out to everyone I'll post up the receipt for the donation to American Heart Association.

    THANK YOU ALL!!!
