The only section of the harness I haven't checked would be the section from the A-piilar to the connector at 1E.
I feel relatively confidant that I've checked everything else?
    Any thoughts are appreciated.

    Thank you

Have you tried running a jumper wire from 1E Pin 9 (Blue) to the Dome Light Pin 2 (Blue) and seing if it works?

    So...
    What does that look like?
A alligator clip from (plugged in 1E) clipped to back of blue wire running to back of (plugged in dome connector) blue wire?

Just want to make sure i'm dong it correctly.
    Thank you

Yes, essentially bypass the roof wire.

    So that worked.
    Light came on.

    I suppose now :
    1) I try to figure out where the short is in the blue wire section (?)
    2) Attempt to run a new wire ( that seems like a challenge ?)
    3) Live without door-dome light

I am relieved to get this far with the groups help - @Dm93!

I'll review what is available on the forum about "how to" pull roof liner and dash to expose blue wire etc.

@Dm93 The jumper worked as I mentioned when back tested on dome and 1E so that tells me that 1E is grounded by bodyECU (?) . That doesn't preclude the possibility that the blue wire isn't seated well in connector nor at dome. Is that a possibility or is it likely that it is shorting somewhere that isn't visible? Meaning is it best to pull liner off and dash to get to the short?

Update: Fixed dome light issue when in door mode

    I didn't take pics.
I ran a jumper to from blue wire pin at fuse box/BECU to back of blue wire at dome and got power.
I started to remove visors, A-pillar moulding etc then started to peel liner at driver side and as I did, "crumbs" fell out of liner edge.
Peeked in and noticed that wires were exposed and the blue wire was severed and surrounded by insulation aka mouse house.
Spliced wire between broken ends and now I have a dimming dome light.

I appreciate the help from everyone especially @Dm93.
    Best,
    Kevin
