    Alu-cab canopy and rear jumpseat delete.
    Yup that's what I did. Nothing wrong with that part. I just thing there are other options. Around my parts folks aren't out n about trying to steal tailgates. So $1.50 well spent.

    I have bought 2 Tailgate Anti-theft devices and can tell you it's a great product. A lot of craftsmanship has been put into this device.

    they work well, but every thief has a screw driver, the reason I started making the anti theft device is because I got tired of looking at that cheap ass $150 hose clamp on my nice ass truck.
    But I did have one for a few years, lol

    I can honestly say that this device works and works well.
    I was at a work site removing materials from my truck and when I came back down my tailgate was open and both side cables were off.
    If it weren’t for this device , I would be buying a new tailgate. I’m glad I bought one along with the anti theft bolt!

    Worth every penny!

    Quoting so I can find the order info.
    What's the factory Torq screw? T40? I am going to try taking it off first, before ordering. If it does not move, I plan to soak it in Kroil overnight and try again. Next step would be a T40(?) socket on a 2ft breaker bar.

    Yes the screw is a T40.. I used a 1/2 breaker bar and a little heat from small torch and the stock one came right out.

    I agree, I can see the clamp is either laser or waterjet cut by a CNC, is nicely made not a home made thing at your garage.
    Christian you have to ignore those have NOT made a thing in their life, and think that other people's labor is free.
    I wonder if they ask why fishermen charge money for fish they caught in the ocean for "Free"

    I bought the Tavaski tailgate anti-theft device for $55 on Amazon.

    I also bought the Toyota OEM Tailgate lock kit/wiring harness and had it installed. Double protection. Tailgate now locks when I lock the truck.
