Took it up to Apollo Beach, and Daytona Beach Saturday and Sunday. Biketoberfest was just getting kicked off!20231022_090029.jpg 20231022_085841.jpg 20231022_085823.jpg 20231022_085629.jpg 20231022_071706.jpg

Met a fellow TW member on the beach, he was catching the heck out of the Pompano, he had a nice SR5 with custom work done to it very sharp.

I may take you up on that. I just ordered it. There are several reviews that say to swap the front and middle bolts/spacers and that fixes most of the issues. So I have my fingers crossed that makes this not too difficult or require any fab'ing. There is a sale currently on it so I paid $161.55 for it (plus tax).

Would it be best to replace the bolts with SS from the hardware store or use what comes in the kit? I've seen some say they ordered the OEM bolt kit which is like 60 bucks!

i think running them in the holes before fixes the feeling that you might be cross threading and makes it go smoother (atleast it did for me) You can choose to buy the hardware but i dont think its necessary.

Stant 10504 locking gas cap, because I heard a bunch of TW members were moving into my neighborhood.

No pictures. You would grievously offend me if you ask for pictures.

Bought the OEM Toyota remote tailgate lock from BAM and it's sitting in the box in the house. Screwed up my knee so it may be awhile.

I will say, all of the tailgate work was done standing up. The wiring part in the passenger kick panel was done standing up. Everything else can be done on a creeper. Either way, sorry about your knee. Since you're in CA you can do it whenever. Here in the Midwest we're running out of good days.
