Seems like decent HD hacks lately, discussion here has saved me
thousands on switching over from yellow.

Finally ordered spot blower and m12 circ, on the fence for the angle
    grinder now hackable.

Well he finally tantrumed hard enough to rip some of the baby gate screws out of the wall. So he’s going to “help me” fix it with some bigger anchors & screws.

Tell me if these are getting old or do you want me to continue to post when I receive them?

What's the actual sale? That's always worth posting.

In my personal experience however, Northern Tool had never come out with a deal worth buying compared to one from Home Depot with a free tool (and overall less than a tool itself).

Did you click on the link? Looks like $xx off on certain tools. I just got a caulk gun at NT and with their markdown and promo code it was a great deal.

I'll admit I thought it was just an image

The m12 spot blower seemed weak so I did some quick performance calcs. Most important is dynamic pressure, which scales with the force exerted on objects in the flow path (lowest set of plots).

Near the nozzle outlet, the m18 gives around 4 kPa yet the m12 gives around 1 kPa. A half meter from the nozzle outlet, the m18 gives around 580 Pa yet the m12 gives around 310 Pa.

I ended up swapping for the m18 Compact Blower, and the calculated dynamic pressure factor of ~4x near the nozzle outlet and ~2x a half meter from the nozzle outlet seems about right. Some quick testing indicates the m18 Compact Blower blows cobwebs and stuck dust/dirt much better and is a keeper in comparison to the m12.

Anyone know of a good storage option, bag or packout for the Milwaukee framing nailer with the extendo on it? Tired of putting it on top of the packout bins, but it’s too big for the bins with anything else inside it. Like, it needs a whole XL packout box for itself, or some shit.

nope. my standard-magazine version just barely fit into the large packout box, and it usually took some creativity to fit the other tools around it.

Grabbed a new set of ratcheting wrenches the other week so I could retire my old set to live in the truck full time...
