Zerks or no..?

    Ok I know, stupid question but I was handed down a 2013 2WD PreRunner from a family member and I went to grease the driveshaft u joints but don’t see any? Isn’t there supposed to be 5 separate locations? Pardon the ignorance, still learning the truck. Thanks guys!

    Likely were changed. It's arguable, that the sealed units are better. Toyota switch to sealed units for 2nd gens after a large customer satisfaction campaign.

    I havent replaced a worn sealed one yet.

    5 zerks is for 4wd only anyways. Three on the rear driveshaft and 2 on the front driveshaft.

    I think all 5 lugs have no zerks, as sold that is.

    Prerunners like mine have no zerks. It's part of the stage III weight reduction package:bananadance:

    Not to mention you need a grease gun with a large capacity to use them should be banned!
