Grew up in Alberta and come back a few times a year.

i found it a bit ironic about the “freedom” comment because I live in BC now and we had less restrictions to start Covid and had restrictions lifted quicker than almost any other province. I went to Edmonton at the start of the pandemic and it was a ghost town. Like the beginning of a zombie movie. Much more was open in BC.

Despite media portrayals, and misconceptions BC is very free and much of the population is right in the middle of the political spectrum.

That's very interesting to hear, where in BC do you live? I for sure base my analysis off of the metropolitans of BC. I visited BC during Covid but that was to the Vancouver greater area, Dawson Creek, Fort Nelson and Smithers areas... people did not seem to be much a fan of me flaunting Covid rules. BC seemed stricter to me until Jason Kenny changed his mind about Vax passports and everything else he said he wasn't doing.

i live in Castlegar. We had Covid rules like every where else but businesses like restaurants adapted quickly to stay open/survive. Seemed the same across much of BC. There was a few weeks of lock down but a lot was open and stayed open.

I guess it’s like every where else that gets a stereo type as far as being left or right. I find myself sticking up for Alberta sometimes, because much of the population aren’t rednecks and ignorant, like much of the population in BC aren’t hippies and tree huggers. It’s a balance that gets lost on many.

Nice, hunting is something i've always wanted to get into but I feel it's one of those things were it's better to be shown than to learn from Google University

Update, Grande Prairie is still November 5th-6th but instead of Prince George i'll be in Cold Lake on the 4th. I still have a few spots for anyone wanting to get tuned.

I'm in Calgary, do any of you guys get sendy in Ghost PLUZ? I usually always see a tacoma bro or two, that and 17 jeep wranglers. Oh and a dodge caravan that somehow is sending it just as hard as the lifted tacomas!

Saw a boat load of tacos in the southern ghost on the weekend. I've gone a few times as well with taco groups. Not anymore though, all bikes now. This is from forever ago.

If I still lived down south there I would come to ghost lake with you but I no longer live in the area. @Magiriano lives in Calgary though and is looking for a trail buddy I hear. Just got back from MOAB even

    Moab was pretty cool.
Arrived there Wednesday Oct 11 and all campsites were full.
Knocked on the door of an RV that was supposed to leave on the 12th to ask if he'd let us pitch a tent since he wasn't using the tent spot.
Eric, the owner of the RV was a very cool guy we made fast friends with, who water rafted the Grand Canyon 10 times, and is been outdoorsy all his life, worked for Water and Forestry, and a world of knowledge.
He stayed for another 4 days with us instead of leaving the next day, and we did a lot of trails with him, and Jeff, a guy with a 4Runner from Indiana.
On Monday the 16th Jeff and I left Moab for Rimrocker Trail which we finished the next day around 11AM after which he went back to Moab and we continued on to Casper WY where we ate at Texas Roadhouse and spend the night at a hotel.
Lots of fun, made 2 new friends, Anika, our oldest and Bruno, our youngest had a blast on the trip.
Took our time sightseeing and got home Thursday afternoon, just in time to clean up our camping gear before the cold hit and clean my 4Runner from top to bottom as it was very dusty from the trails.
Also did a bit of work on my Tacoma, installed some goodies I received while I was away, fuel tank skidplate from RA Motorsports, TRD airbox with with HPS intake tube and AFE TBS
All in all, a good trip, I might be meeting Eric in Death Valley in February as we plan on doing that after Baja and he seems to spend the winter there.
