Went from an AC to a DCLB back to an AC and will also attest the turning radius is very noticeable, especially in the city

My current is a sb. I had a lb and liked the length for ability to carry things but went with the sb because the turning radius was annoying.

This how I feel sometimes with my DCLB. Still wouldn’t change a thing

thats definitely how I am in my full sized rental truck. Wish the larger trucks had rear steering, like the 2000s gmc trucks did.

Unless you live in Canada. The Access Cab LB TRD OR with MT is one of our standard models for whatever reason. Canada only.

My current work vehicle is a short bed offroad and I think I feel more bumps than in my personal truck which is a DCLB. Ill take the same dirt road switch back in both trucks and my long bed turning radius feels exactly the same and I have yet to need to take an extra attempt.

The inconvenience of a short bed not being long enough/have enough room can be compensated for by purchasing a long bed- but how often will you get the opportunity to to buy the other version?

The turning radius extra 2 feet might mean something as unfortunate as backing up once to get a better angle, but I have not noticed it being a problem after driving both vehicles back to back daily for a few months.

As for parking - I always back in and have never had a problem.

I love my D/C L/B but it keeps me on my toes when parking. Thank god for the back up camera. The front end nose sticks out alot too. You don't see that from the drivers view. Also when off roading high centering is something to watch out for. Just be forewarned and choose your parking carefully.

It's only about a foot longer. But yes, it makes a difference. The good thing is it's still only as wide as every other tacoma. I've squeezed between cars on narrow streets where a full size truck would be clipping mirrors all over the place

Yeah. I live in Atlanta, Georgia. It was hard enough to get the double cab short bed in a manual transmission. I had to wait so long in order to get my truck in in white for work. I am glad I have it but I do wish I was able to get the access cab with the long bed instead. Too bad Toyota stop the manual transmission for the access cab well at least here.

Maybe so but what you see more often on the road and what dealers actually have are dcsb.

DCLB checking in. I dunno, because the hood isn't long (beyond the skewp blocking some vertical sightline) I find the DCLB easier to park and turn than my freaking boat of a Firebird from back in the day. :D Backing up is what the camera and/or spotter mirrors are for.
