Reading this place can make one feel these trucks are junk. I bless myself each time I raise the hood to check the fluid levels and overall condition of the motor area. Everything is dry as a bone, no oil or pink efflorescence anywhere.... I did lose my rear skid plate bolts somewhere along the ride, so there is that. (M8 x 1.25 x 35mm)

The thing you gotta think about is quite a few people sign up here just to complain or work through an issue. Many people never have any issues

Good news and I agree but some of us have had serious issues. I’m just hoping my new 2023 sr5 lasts without issues

It's a common massed produced vehicle. Shit happens. Some pile the aftermarket crap on. Some pound the absolute piss out of them. Some have driven their 3rd gen V6 over 300,000 miles already. 1.8 million give or take on the roads today. Majority are quite happy.

Personally, only one issue after 3 years. Front drivers side center cap broke. Getting replaced just before warranty is over. This can be a myopic echo chamber at times. After 3 years here, some really amazing folks. Love this place and my truck so far. Draw your own conclusions.

    Trust me
Compared to some other brands overall , the truck is a gem . My 19 DCSB hasn’t had one issue . I had the fuel pump recall done , and the rear cab light done ( it never leaked ) they installed that outer rubber piece . But that’s it . I change the oil at 5 k and rotate the tires . Oh and I greased the zerks on the front drive shaft., a few times . I also changed the fluids on the front diff , rear , and transfer case with the proper fluids. ( amsoil front and rear ) factory stuff transfer . Still original battery . Again no complaints here, and by the way the tranny shifts fine .

Since Aug 2020 I’ve only had zero issues over 64k miles. Exactly what I paid for!
