Glad you got it diagnosed! Did the 4HI test lead you to this?

Wrong again. Your assumption even more shows ignorance. It is evident that you do not have any experience in the business and that makes it funny that you carry on. It isn't about ego. It is about helping others. It makes zero sense for someone with no knowledge to try to help when there are plenty of people that do. Even worse when someone continues on because their pride keeps them from admitting they don't know what they are talking about.

I don't know about you, but when I ask questions here and I do frequently because there is a lot I don't know, I am looking for answers from someone that actually knows and isn't just repeating nonsense they read off the internet. Imagine in this situation, that the OP takes the silly advice of searching for a road force balancer. They could be wasting a lot of time and money. Would you want to be in that situation? Not to mention someone suggesting that they get an alignment. There is zero chance an alignment will fix a vibration. I would say that it is you that needs to let your ego go.

You're absolutely clueless. I told you upfront the assumption was wrong to prove a point - how dumb you sound when you act like you know everything about someone you've never met..
I'll break it down since you love the multiquotes:
You're only here to argue, you offered zero helpful suggestions to OP. Your only suggestion was not to road force balance or align the vehicle, yet you told him to go to a tire shop as the first step..
Finally something we agree on. Take a look in the mirror.

Because your reading comprehension absolutely sucks, here's a little refresher of my suggestions for OP, which he took and immediately found the issue, spending $0, and never even got his hands dirty. Guess my inexperience and ability to read is worthless. See what happens when you come to help instead of argue with other posters?
You're so stuck on your bitterness towards road force, you completely fail to realize I told OP 3 things to check BEFORE even thinking about balancing. You need real help bud.

Sorry to revive this, but what kind of movement is acceptable?

If I lay under my truck, I should not have any play front-back / up-down if I were to grab the axle like a handlebar, but side to side (as in from drivers side to passenger side) should be normal as that's the CV joint doing its intended function.

I have been chasing a shake that cost me an alignment and overinflated tires from a Toyota dealership back when I had 20k miles in the spring, I'm just about to reach 30k and figure maybe this could be my source of vibration. changing tires (Sport to OR ) did not change the slight vibration I get between 30-55 MPH. Stock height so I wasn't sure if the needle bearing can go out on stock height.
