Them Virginia deer are used to seeing lights at night, really bright lights, they spread their hooves to run faster.

I will warn you, they do dry out (scales side) and need long term care. I have a few overseas stuff my father brought home I noticed recently.

Yeh I figured, my dad is doing one also so were both learning. I wanted to get it set in place, dry for a day or two and give it a layer of mink oil. Then retack along its outermost edges and trim what is already shriveling...

The ones from him do have a leather like texture to the the inners, smooth and thin. They were rolled up linear from the original tanners.

Attached the skirt tonite. It was a challenge to clamp being that I do not have 500 clamps like the wood guys on tv have. So, improvise. Thought you would get a kick out of this lol. Oh, and all my corners turned out fine. Here's one:

There's a ratchet strap. As long as he said the magic words "that's not going anywhere" its fine!

I'm guessing this is an outboard motor?

If yes, the tattle tale flow ports do get clogged, it's usually in the flexible line from the head to the exit. Most are removable by hand.
