Horrible clicking coming from dashboard when making sharp turns, sliding on snow, or using 4WD.

Hi there. I remember shortly after I got my 2019 TRD Off-Road four years ago that I accidentally drove with 4H on dry pavement and made a couple turns. On the second turn, I heard a horrible clicking noising coming from my dashboard. Ever since then, when I make sharp turns, am sliding on snow, or am using 4WD and make normal turns, I hear a clicking noise coming from my dashboard. Maybe it’s a click coming from something else that’s reverberating through the dashboard, but that’s where I hear it coming from. Did I break something? Is this normal?

You sure its not your antilock system. Can sound really loud in the TRD offroad as the brakes are different versus the other trims. Should post a video so folks can hear, but from what you describe I would suspect that is what it is

Regular turns or hard turns where you are pushing the limits of traction? You are probably hearing the ABS pump working with traction control.

In park, hold the traction control button down for 5-10 seconds to fully turn it off. Then take the same turn and see if you hear the same noise.

If you messed something up with the transfer case, drive shafts or axels you would hear that all the time.

The issue started in 2019 and you're just now looking into it? Safe to say nothing is too terribly broken if it hasn't grenaded in four years.
