    2013 Tacoma Base Reg. Cab
    Hey y’all,

New taco owner here! I recently purchased a 2013 base Tacoma reg cab. I previously owned a Corolla which didn’t have steering wheel controls and did the whole install so I assumed the process would be pretty similar. I purchased the steering wheel controls and clockspring and everything fits but I can’t get the steering wheel controls to work. I’ve read a few threads and I’m assuming since it’s a base mode taco that it isn’t prewired. Any advice or anyone who has attempted and/or completed this install care to share their experience would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: on a somewhat unrelated note I did an install to try and get cruise control as well. Same deal I don’t think it’s prewired. Anyone know if there’s a wiring harness that I can purchase or know how I can get that to work too that would be amazing

Part that attaches to the clock spring does most of that,
