It's one screw. I guess you do have to be tall enough to reach. Which isn't really all that tall.

A friend once asked me if he should buy a condominium from his friends who were moving to from OH to AZ. He was just emerging from the stresses of child support payments and the price he was getting on the condominium was too good to be pass up ... but that he had to borrow just for the down payment.

I advised him that "price at the door" is just the beginning. These are the joys of being financially responsible for all home repairs.

You must pay monthly subscription for the full 5 HP. Else it is just the "trial period" 1 HP.

Picked up another rear driveline, and ordered some new tires. Trying out the 37 Kenda Mt2s, as I've been running their RTs for a couple of years.

I could have dragged out the utility trailer from the back of my property where I keep it stored, hook up to Taco, pull to HD for some misc lumber I need for fence and house repairs, pull home, unload and put trailer back in storage. OR, I could strap lumber to DB. Small bundle of cedar lap siding, some cedar fence pickets and treated 2x4s.

edit: for the second time in a week, watched a homeowner struggle to get a 4'x8' sheet of something (plywood, OSB, etc.) into the back of a small SUV/CUV. HD employee attempting help, overheard homeowner "I know it will fit, I did it once before".

Qué If you're referring to why didn't I just put 8' long lumber in bed, it's because I have no way to strap it down in multiple places when laying flat in tiny bed. Also, with lumber at the height of the DB, less chance I'll back into something or someone will hit end of lumber as opposed to if it was sticking out at tailgate height. Besides, I had other cargo in bed at the time. Plastic and metal heading to the recycling drop off. Two chores, one trip. Another nice thing about the DB. You can open and close the tailgate without having to lift the rear panel. Why the F am I even explaining why I do things the way I do? NWTAW.

Does anyone have a rack on the back of their Tacoma and have a roll up Tonneau cover?
I'm thinking of getting a rack and want something that will work with my present back flip rolling cover. I think Bille Bars might be my only choice to use.

    any suggestions?

What about moisture getting into the hole and causing other issues any chance that could happen and or did you cover the tiny hole?

What tonneau do you have? (DB?) Did it come with the tie-down points or did you add those? Details on the short cargo guard in front of the rear window?

I have the factory tri-fold hard cover, and may need to mod it if I ever have a Canadian permanently locked in the bed of the truck. (For recycling purposes, eh?)

    I got that!
I have the SE. It came with corner tie-down cleats (4) and I installed the interior cleats (4) a short time after I installed cover. I also installed the low-profile cab guard shortly after I installed cover as I started realizing how easy it was to carry cargo on the cover (which is the whole idea behind the DB) that was too bulky, tall or just didn't fit in the bed. The cab guard adds protection to the rear window if cargo was to slide forward.

Thanks - found the DiamondBack website and the cab guard. That’s a nice feature when you need to haul extra stuff or oversized items.
