    Hi all
I was just at the Toyota dealer and they ordered me the front coil springs according to the VIN.
I was there to get the springs replaced but black ones showed up and the service manager is looking into what is going on.
They also have a plastic insert maybe an upgrade to deal with the stress breaks?
Is this the replacement or should the springs still be Red?

Thanks for the info, I wish those were the prices here in Canada. The MSRP is $378.35 and I’m getting them for $270.14 each. The parts counter checked the numbers and that is what comes up.
They are still looking into this and I will reschedule the appointment.
    My extended warranty (not Toyota)also doesn’t cover springs,go figure…

Update on the TRD Pro front suspension.
After 3 weeks waiting for a response, the dealer has called me and said that Toyota Canada has told them that the spring can not be purchased separately and that the entire assembly has to be purchased as a unit.
I have seen some YouTube videos where the owner has kept the Fox shock and changed the springs to something that is more suitable for them.
This reply sucks and I will not be taking that advice.
Always something to get the consumer bent over…

Thanks, I did have a look..seems to be a good alternative.
I have 1 more chance that I will attempt, the extended warranty didn’t cover the spring but may cover the entire assembly…here’s hoping…
