Hello everyone. I’m a former FJ owner that went away from the brand for awhile, but I’m back with a 2020 TRD Sport.

When I bought it, I checked all the functions to make sure they worked and went over the tires and shocks and usual stuff.

I didn’t think to look in the jack storage, but today I did and there is no jack or tools!

I have come to the experts to find out if there’s a recommended alternative for the jack and the tools.

If it was just the jack, I’d buy a different bottle jack and call it a day, but being that the handle also lowers the spare, I’m wondering if I should just buy a factory set.

    Thanks
    Jared

:) Correct, I lifted up the rear passenger seat to look in the large compartment and it’s empty.

Looks like Amazon has the lowering tool with lug wrench for less than $30. Add a good bottle jack and you should be good. That will be a fair bit less than getting a full OEM set.

Omg! I would’ve never guessed Amazon would carry that, but there are quite a few sellers, thank you!

I saw Toyota wanted $375 for the whole deal

If the truck has any suspension lift a bottle jack may be inadequate.

If you have a problem off road in an uneven spot, a bottle jack can be dangerous

Consider your uses before spending your $

    Non yet.
