Replaced tail light modules. Steering rack replacement.
I have recently replaced my tail light modules due to a crack tail light out.
    This is what I know-
As i am replacing the module on the passenger side, i notice an individual green wire connecting to a light on the old module. The new modules however, are “plug and plays” whereas it is one plug and its good. The DRIVERS side did not have this green wire. The harness had 3 individual wires I believe, that were not connected to anything(cut). The driver’s side running light works just fine. All the blinkers and reverse and brakes work. But the running light on the passenger side will not. And yes, i cut the green wire connecting to the old module light, separating them.
Now, i have tested to see what works if only one module is connected, and which ones. If I disconnect the driver’s side, nothing changes. The passenger side running light will not work. The blinker, reverse, and break will.
If i connect the drivers side and disconnect the passenger, if i am remembering correctly,(typing this at 1:30am and exausted) the light just will not work and the left blinker inside cluster is solid green. OR, It works perfectly fine.
Plus- the red light in the back of the cab will work VERY slightly. I cannot remember exactly which side is connected when occurring. When both are plugged in, red light will not work.
BEFORE I SWAPPED THE MODULES, my left tail light was busted and the red plastic had a fat hole in it. The light then went out. I then noticed my cluster lights and climate lights stopped working. So i looked at my tail lights and they BOTH went out. Along with the red light on the cab.I believe the blinkers MAY have worked but not brakes or running. I cannot recall if reverse lights were working. So, i swapped the bulbs. While swapping the passenger one, i forgot to turn the truck back off, and i blew a fuse. So i replaced 10A tail under hood, and 10A STOP inside cab. PROBLEM SOLVED(for now)
I had to replace the busted plastic and had a new pair sitting in the garage. So thats when i swapped em and it started all over again.
This is what I know. Im not sure how much is helpful and how much is useless. If anyone might know whats going on, what went wrong, and or what i can do from here. Id very much appreciate anyone and everyones support and shared knowledge!
