Instructions should be left to your wife (if she survives you) upon moving out of the house, maybe when your daughter buys her own house ... cut out that portion of the bench for her. At least offer ...

Fr pass door handle replace, Tyger step rails and soft bed cover, DDSS3 fogs, TRD skid, OR front tow hook, SokieTech hood struts, fr seat covers (neoprene), metal oil filter housing, magnetic oil plug, Cyclone under hood lights, Blue Sea Systems 5025 Fuse Block ST Blade 6 Circuit with Ground and Cover, Blue Sea Systems 60A DC Panel Mount circuit breaker.
It was fully intended as a compliment. Entertaining and educational, yet self deprecating. Well done (in case my non-What have you done to your 3rd gen today opinion has any value).

Are you going with stock tune or a third party tune? I have the Stryker tune from YotaWerx and I’m very happy with it.

On another note, can the comfy ass 4Runner front seats be put into a Tacoma? Just got a 4Runner for my girlfriend and her fucking seats are so comfortable compared to this Tacoma I'm ready to go to a pull apart and have a new drivers seat tomorrow.

Or a good aftermarket headrest to fix the ungodly angle?

Damn dude, you sure had one of those days! But, you got it done, and not much damage.

I share your hatred towards fluids. It's always windy where I live, so changing fluids outside is always a challenge. I bought a BFP (big f'in pan) for those windy days, but fluids still escape sometimes.

I take care of quite a bit of equipment at work, have gotten really good at oil changes and transmission/transfer case flushes/refills, hardly spill a drop. But, when it comes to gear oil, I hate that stuff. Gosh awful smell that you can hardly get rid of. I might as well dump some on me before I start, as no matter the day/weather/equipment, I'll get that stuff all over me! Never fails! I always say next time will be different, but it never is.

I've driven six miles in 70 degree dry weather so far. Too early to tell. What I have in my truck now is far better than the tires that came with it. I'll advise when I've taken them for a ride in inclement weather.

So I took my Taco to the dealer for the 5,000 mile service. I asked if that included an oil change, since I had some short-trip driving and some towing. They said they could ‘apply’ the 10,000 oil change to this trip. ?? I said no thanks.

So, I get the service report and besides the Toyota-approved rotation of the tires, inspection of the sealed transmission, and technically-accurate topping off of the washer fluid… o_O …there is also a note and photo regarding the 360-walk-around video of my vehicle.

Don’t know if that is a local dealer thing (liability), or a Toyota-Care thing (deny coverage), but Big Brother is watching. :ballchain::eek:

When I went to a different dealer for my alignment, they did a video walk around too. They told me it’s for dings and scratches.
