    then they didn't update the parts database to include 2023 models for fit yet. Parts guys are sometimes not smart enough to figure out that and only tell you what the computer says with old information it still has. I would search with a previous year 2019 - 2022. it should be the same. You basically want the kit for the correct wheel base length, as I understand it that is the only difference in the two Toyota part numbers for their kits.

    strange....i thought about getting the kit but just use the key, hose clamp, and this

    i am in my truck a min of 8 times a day so it would get a workout and the buttscums can still unlock the gate by prying under the handle......but i only use my gate maybe twice a month

    This is the wiring passenger side..not sure what the difference is between off road which dealer says doesn't work and the sport which it lists for the power tailgate lock..

    The oem toyota kit works on 23.
    I have installed the oem kit on a 23 pro and 23 TRD OR.

    Thanks for the confirmation. The dealer told me it DEFINITELY won't fit. My taco hasn't come in yet so I can't even check the connectors but I feel much more comfortable ordering it before it comes in now. If it really, truly doesn't work there's always the classifieds. It shouldn't be too hard to get rid of.
