Check the window switch: Make sure the window switch is functioning properly. Sometimes, a faulty switch can prevent the window from going up. Try using the switch from both the driver's side and passenger's side to see if the issue persists.

Inspect the fuse: Locate the fuse box and check the fuse corresponding to the power windows. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new one of the same rating. Refer to your vehicle's manual for the exact location of the fuse box and the window fuse.

Check the wiring: Inspect the wiring connections going to the window motor and switch. Loose or damaged wiring can cause issues with the window operation. Look for any visible signs of damage or disconnected wires. If any issues are found, they may need to be repaired or replaced.

Test the window motor: If the window switch and wiring appear to be in good condition, the issue may lie with the window motor itself. Test the motor by applying direct power to it. If the motor doesn't respond, it may need to be replaced.

Lubricate the window tracks: Over time, dirt and debris can accumulate in the window tracks, causing friction and hindering window movement. Clean the tracks and apply a silicone-based lubricant to ensure smooth operation.

I’m having a similar issue, the passenger window won’t go down using either the drivers or passenger switch. Drivers side window operates fine.

I tested every fuse in the 2 fuse boxes near the driver’s left knee and under the hood rear of the battery.

My guess is a bad window switch. To remove the plastic panel the window switches are mounted on, looks like you just pry up on it? Starting at the front or back?

Yeah I know it’s unrelated but it happened after I found someone left a gift in the bed.

I’d say the switch, for the longest time I was having problems with my passenger side window going up…seemed weak at times. Thought for sure it was the regulator, eventually the driver was doing the same thing. Replaced the switch from cartrimhome.com and haven’t had an issue since then. I’d say it’s your switch. :)

    Thanks for the feedback.

Before I proceed I’d like an answer to this.
I’ve broke things guessing too many times.

make DAMNED sure the driver's side passenger window LOCK OUT switch is NOT ACTIVATED.

I almost shat myself 2 weeks ago when I thought I had a wiring problem, fuse, switch problem, or dead motor in the passenger window... I was on the road and rain was coming, passenger window 2/3rds rolled down, couldn't get it to go back up !

... checked the LOCK OUT switch; I had inadvertently brushed it and locked it down!

If it won’t work from either switch, It’s probably a bad master switch (drivers side).
The ground goes through the master switch. You can test the switch. Pins 8 and 10
Remember the pins on the switch will be “mirrored” from the diagram below. Matched the colors to “be sure”.

You should have continuity between those pins. (On the switch)

The same test can be done for the passenger switch.
    Between pins 5 and 2.

Dude! Nailed it. Honestly I didn’t even know that switch was there.

I’m calling today EVEN. -1 my dumbass was dumb. +1 fixed it for free. -1 had to clean up someone’s “gift”. +1 saw some decent implants.

Thanks @TnShooter too. I’ll bet you were thinking, naw, he couldn’t be dumb enough to not check the lock out switch.

Yeah, I was thinking you probably checked the lock button already.

It’s ok…..I do things like that too.
Like thinking my 20v battery saw was “broken”. Shut clean off in the middle of a cut.
Nope, it just needed a charged battery:oops:
But I was petty upset for a few minutes.
Thank goodness my dad was there to “suggest a charged battery”.
