Factory bed rug?

I just ordered a factory bed rug for my tacoma figured it would go great with my factory bed cover. Never knew Toyota made these until I was searching on their website. Anyone have the factory bed rug and how do you like it ?

 

Interesting. At first I thought it was a BedRug brand liner but it has a Toyota part number (PT939-35190) and is listed as "Genuine Toyota" as the brand. FWIW I've had a BedRug bed mat and it's been great.

 

Willing to bet it's a re branded bedrug with Toyota's name on the box. Just like the amp steps and bed extenders. Toyota doesn't make those either, but they have their name on the box if you buy it from them.

Buy whichever brand is cheaper. I almost bought one for mine. I still might if I trade the Bakflip X4s for a shell.

It looks great with the shell's head liner. I almost got the full bedliner but I stopped myself since the bed mat I already have would be going to waste LOL

Adhesive velcro strips. If you only have the right side inverter and cubby and not the one on the left just don't cut out the opening on the left side.

Should be interesting how it holds up. The end facing outward might rip while loading something. Also won’t the load slip around? I guess it’s your choice and do what makes you happy. Good luck

 

My mat is as sticky as the OEM rubber mat as far as things not sliding. The main reason I got it is that it's very easy on my old knees. I've had it for 2 years, it's held up well and no problems loading stuff.

 

Toyota doesnt make it. Like most parts, they just spec'd it and outsource it to fit their needs.

It's a Bedrug brand and all the labels are there to match it.

You have to cut holes for your bed lights and the cut out for the cubby hole.

Yes, they include a bag of large heavy duty double sided velcro strips.

Be sure to clean the side of the bed with alcohol for better adhesion.

 

That looks really clean/custom. I'll probably order one if I can find a Black Friday sale.
