There has been talk about a plate that breaks and falls and causes a slight miss or shutdown after full throttle acceleration., my truck is having a miss with no codes. This happens at 45 mph or more.

ACIS damper is what it’s called if I remember. The damper breaks off actuator inside manifold and causes various issues.

The "miss" you are experiencing is not related to a broken ACIS plate.
Acis activates at and above 2600 rpms. 45 mph is a classic torque converter shudder which happens in 5th with torque converter in a locked state and extended downshift and torque converter unlocking points.
There are cheap obd2 tools available to diagnose the issue before you go on the wild goose chase

It all the sudden quit, no check engine lights, no codes. This started out of the blue. I've had 3 of these trucks, they all had little quirks but this one has been the most solid. At my age I want it to last. I had a Gen 1 for 12 years. It didn't like trees. If I get 12 out of this one I will be almost 78. I have never experienced this in the other 2 - 3rd gens. It makes sense.
