First 3000 Miles

It should be here this afternoon and I'll play with it over the weekend. I guess I've been using Apple Maps, but I'll figure out what I have to do to get Google Maps in my Car Play. Apple Maps seems to be getting me around very well though. I have an iPhone 11. Depending on my mood, I may pack up the dirtbike and head down the road for a ride tomorrow. My destination is over an hour one way, so it might be a good shakedown cruise with my new gizmo. Updates will follow…

 

CarLinKit Update: I did a road trip yesterday---about 65 miles one way and then back and it worked great. I used it with Google Maps, if that matters. I'm not sure about boot time (I only booted twice) but I don't think it's any slower than a dedicated GPS or plugging my phone in. So far, so good!
