Gotta clean out the garage from recent projects. All of these are oem takeoffs. Scrap ‘em or offer ‘em up on free on marketplace here?

    IMG_6322.jpg

These are all from ‘21 TRD OR with approx 60K miles.

F/R shocks (one front missing upper hardware)

Lower rear load springs (replaced with add a leaf)

Skid plates and hardware (missing one bolt)

Stock front crash bar/brackets/plastic cover (one bracket has bed liner I test sprayed on it)

Front passenger side recovery point and bolts

Lower valance with a couple of broken tabs

Not pictured- Plastic tailgate cap (kinda scratched up but usable, nothing broken)

If these are useful to someone near the Gwinnett County area of Georgia, pm me, I’ll meet you nearby and they’re yours. Not interested in packing up and shipping so they’d be local pickup only.

So, whatta you guys think? A trip to the scrap yard and be done with it or worth offering them up?

I just toss the stuff before it piles up. I have an over sized wooden crate I have to break down now that I think about it.

I'd scrap everything, except the recovery hook. Someone will want that. It's also easy to toss in a flat rate USPS box.

I scrapped the pair of OEM OR leaf springs, full stack, for $6. Not worth the effort.

Offer them up on Craigslist. see what happens.

I don't do FB, but if you are on it, go with that route too.

Never throw away nuts and bolts, keep them, you never know when you need them.

Agree. I do FB marketplace quite a bit. I only meet away from my house. Otherwise, it’s inviting trouble.

It all comes down to if you have a local market .

I try giving things away then they get tossed in the scrap for the next load.

Offer em on a regional thread here, someone going back to stock will probably scoop up lots of it

I've been trying to give away 18 sport suspension for 5+ yrs now. Only 100 miles on it. Still sitting in boxes in pole barn.

Once you decide to box things and ship your to the point of collecting money.

If just for shipping if your lucky to work for a place that ships outbound all the time it means arrange for a pick up or go for a ride.

I know a couple of knife makers that like to use leaf springs as blade material.

CL for free, FB marketplace for free should get most of it gone.
