Lol, hasn’t been shiny since woolwax. But another thing missing besides shine…rust!

I’ll take the woolwax crust over rust. The color is beautiful to my eye. I call it “Saharan Warlord Tan”

It is very nice armor, and you can tell a lot of thought and design went into it, with how it basically forms a kind of unibody shell all the way to the transfer case.

But the weight means that some stinkbug action is gonna result in the stance (thanks for the visual @Camerasandcoffee lol). Which is why I’m trying to lift the front.

For now it’s not that bad though, courtesy of 4 sand tubes in the cargo area

You mentioned that the spring compressor you bought didn't fit. You can use disassemble the strut in place using the vehicle weight and a jack under the LCA as the compressor. I believe that is how @Supr4Lo did his when he changed to higher rate springs. It's a decent technique and not as sketchy as it sounds.

Yes, that's how I changed springs. Took like 15-20 minutes a side. Was not sketchy at all.

I was hoping to avoid complete disassembly just to increase pre-load on my spring, but this may be the way.

I’m sure I could knock them out in 15-20 as well, as long as you let me define when I start the timer. :p

Appreciate the offer but not just yet, think I'd have a hard time moving the other 57%. But if you find some friends to take up the remainder let's make a deal!

Ole Bessie would have got it done. Either that or snap the bolt off. :D

I might be interested in the other 57%. I'm not exactly sure what I would need it for yet, but it seems like it could come in handy and wouldn't take up a lot of space in the meantime.
