Anyone done an axle seal on the front diff?

 

A number of times. It’s not that difficult. You can make a seal driver out of a piece of PVC tubing. I think I still have the one I made.

 

the only slightly difficult part is the CV axle can be stubborn to pull out and push back in. also make sure the C-clip is oriented the right way to make the CV axle reinstall easier and dont drive the new seal too far in.

 

I found the pipe couplers to fit decent too for driving. saves buying a length of pipe and cutting 3 times

 

in case you loose your special socket. a couple pieces of 3/32 wire and a 17mm socket make a perfect fit.

 

Couple weeks ago, my key lock for my TRD wheel nuts sheared off in the top of 1 nut while I was torquing it tight. Luckily I had the other side loosened already.
Used an air chisel to get the front wheel locks off.

 

I had to buy another complete set of TRD nuts to get 4 more matching wheel nuts.
If anyone wants a set of wheel locks with key, let me know. I’m never putting locks on my wheels again.

 

No one is stealing our wheels any time soon. Maybe for JDM cars with $8k of wheels

 

I am literally laffing my ass of here...snicker...you sound d like you're 21 yrs old, hehe, thinking wheel lock nuts were a good idea.

I come from security background...IT, Physical etc...trust me, worse than no security is perceived security. Locking tuners on guitar is great, locking wheel nuts are useless and just a huge pain in the ass for the vehicle owner.

I've removed all the other locks I've had on my Yotas. These ones were on the truck when I bought it and I left them on because I didn't have any matching nuts.

Either you bought a 75-lb mail-order man from California, or these are the incorrectly listed RXT leaf springs from Amazon.

 

The acorn lugnuts are available with a reduced 3/4" hex head. Use a 3/4" or 19mm chrome socket and it'll usually fit in the lugbore on aftermarket wheels.
